Occupational Therapy

Belle completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at the University of Newcastle and also holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) and a Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Counselling. Her diverse clinical experience spans across; Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), the development and delivery of Early Intervention programs, acute inpatient care, community and rehabilitation services, hand therapy, and paediatrics. As a Senior Clinician in the public sector, Belle has been deeply committed to educating and supervising junior staff and emerging students, fostering reflective practice and professional growth among the next generation of therapists. Belle’s true interest and passion lies within family centered care. She is passionate about supporting the development and wellbeing of children aged 0–15 years, with experience in emotional regulation, sensory processing, fine and gross motor development, and functional skill building through practical, strengths-based interventions and play. Grounded in a family-centred approach, Belle recognises the dynamic interplay between a child’s development, environment, and relationships. Working collaboratively with families, Belle provides education, guidance, and hands-on strategies to help parents and caregivers foster independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life. Through evidence-based approaches, Belle seeks to empower children and families to build skills, strengthen routines, and develop sustainable strategies that promote growth, connection, and resilience at home, school, and in the community.
