Professionally licenced Counsellor
Jaisy is a professionally licenced Counsellor who works with a multicultural client base, aged sixteen and above.
Jaisy's specialities include older adolescents/young adults, bicultural identification, family/workplace relational conflict space, grief and bereavement and trauma counselling.
Jaisy uses an integrative person-centred approach that combines elements of somatic and emotion-focused techniques and Internal Family Systems Therapy to engage clients to recognise the source of trauma in their bodies.
Jaisy likes to help clients develop skills to assist with nervous system regulation and distress tolerance.
As a mother of teenagers, Jaisy is passionate about working with adolescents/young adults and their parents individually or as a family to develop trust, facilitate relational healing and improve the well-being of the family system.
Jaisy also has an interest in working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) families and helping resolve conflict arising from bicultural differences.
