Clinical Neuropsychologist and Psychologist

Michelle completed her Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University, Sydney, and is an Endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Michelle is passionate about improving the well-being, daily functioning, and long-term quality of life of children and adolescents with brain conditions that impact their daily functioning. During the assessment process and therapy sessions, she specialises in children and teenagers with high anxiety and uses a neuro-affirming approach. Michelle engages in comprehensive diagnostic assessments for a wide range of neurodevelopmental conditions (i.e., autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disorders, intellectual disability, and epilepsy). She has a special interest in neuropsychology assessments after brain injury (i.e., stroke, dementia, motor vehicle accident or illness, injury, or other brain trauma). Her academic research focused on the long-term impacts of repetitive concussion in sports. She has clinical experience across various settings, including rehabilitation, private practice and inpatient and outpatient settings. She has a background in the Military and experience with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Selective Mutism and learning difficulties.
