Thomas is a registered psychologist and a clinical psychology registrar at the Canberra Child Psychiatry Centre. He enjoys supporting children, adolescents, and their families through a range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health challenges. His therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and developmentally informed. His approach to therapy is integrative and evidence-based, drawing primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), alongside attachment-informed and strengths-based frameworks.
Thomas has over three years of experience working with children and adolescents across clinical and community settings. From 2023 to 2024, he worked as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, where he developed extensive experience supporting young people with complex behavioural and emotional needs, working closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams.
He completed his Master of Clinical Psychology and is currently undertaking a PhD. Thomas is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic space where young people feel heard and families feel empowered.
He has very short wait time… 2-3 weeks at present for suitable patient for therapy.
